| Infant Observation -- A New International Video
Link Program The observational study of infants and of the infant-parent relationship has long been a mainstay of object relations training. It grounds the observer in the details of individual development, in the process of understanding non-verbal communication in the parent-infant relationship, and in the unconscious roots of transference and countertransference. The process has been pioneered at the Tavistock Clinic, London, and the London Institute of Psychoanalysis. We are now able to offer this training in the United States and Central America via videoconference link with the Tavistock Clinic. Experienced faculty from London are now teaching seminars in Chevy Chase, MD and in Panama. Others can join in these seminars at a few sites or can, by request, form a group of their own to become part of this project. Contact us at IIORT to discuss your interest. Video Links Anywhere |
